Jennifer Hsieh, OD, FAAO
Dr. Jennifer Hsieh 謝佩真 眼科醫生 (pronounced "shay") is a graduate of the U.C. Berkeley, School of Optometry. After graduating with honors in 2009, she finished a one year residency program there, where she received additional training in specialty contact lenses (overnight Ortho-K / CRT fitting for correcting nearsightedness, bifocal/multifocal contact lenses for correcting presbyopia, keratoconus/pellucid marginal degeneration for correcting astigmatism, etc), laser surgery consultations (LASIK/PRK), low vision, ocular diseases and primary care.
Dr. Hsieh personally manages all her nearsighted patients closely. She is one of the top prescribing doctors for MiSight FDA approved nearsightedness control contact lenses and the Paragon CRT Ortho-K nighttime contact lenses in the Bay Area and in the United States. Dr. Hsieh has taught many lectures and webinars to other eye doctors in the Bay Area on topics such as retinal detachment, keratoconus and myopia control with Ortho-K and MiSight contact lenses. |
She also published numerous papers on retinal detachment, Corneal Refractive Therapy (CRT) fitting and myopia control, viral conjunctivitis treatment and keratoconus.
Dr. Hsieh received her Fellowship through the American Academy of Optometry (F.A.A.O.) in 2010, which is considered one of the highest standards for optometric professional competence. She was awarded a nomination for the 2015 American Optometric Association Young Optometrist of the Year Award. She also won the 2014 California Optometric Association Young Optometrist of the Year Award and the 2013 Santa Clara County Optometric Society Young Optometrist of the Year Award. She served as the Board of Trustee for Public Relations for Santa Clara County Optometric Society (SCCOS) and the chairperson for the SCCOS InfantSee Program. She was recognized for her dedication and commitment to her patients and profession by the Santa Clara County Optometric Society and California Optometric Association.
Dr. Hsieh is certified for treating glaucoma and prescribing medications for eye disease treatment. She is also certified for treating nearsightedness with the Paragon's Corneal Refractive Therapy (CRT) Ortho-K nighttime contact lenses and the CooperVision's MiSight daily disposable soft contact lenses. A lot of children love seeing Dr. Hsieh for their eye exams as she makes it fun and stress-free for them. Both young patients and their parents will learn a lot about the human eyes, nearsightedness and myopia control from Dr. Hsieh.
She enjoys performing low vision examinations for patients with impaired vision and assessing their need for different low vision devices to help them staying in the workforce and maintaining independence.
Dr. Hsieh is passionate about her career as an optometrist. She loves her profession and looks forward to providing the best eye care in a friendly, personalized and holistic manner for all her patients.
In her free time, Dr. Hsieh enjoys spending quality family time with her husband Channing and her son Oliver. She also loves cooking and baking.

Linda M. Yee, OD
Dr. Linda Yee, a native Californian originally from Walnut Creek, completed her undergraduate degree in Molecular Cell Biology from UC Berkeley and continued on at the Berkeley School of Optometry to receive her doctor’s degree in 1996. She did a residency in geriatrics and low vision at the Palo Alto Veterans Hospital, where she met Dr. Curtis Keswick, and joined the office in 1997. Past awards include Young Optometrist of the Year for Santa Clara County. She is currently is a member of the Santa Clara Optometric Society. Dr. Yee is currently on staff at Gardner Family Health Network’s St James clinic practicing geriatric optometry. She has been practicing family eye care in Almaden Valley for over 20 years.
Dr. Yee enjoys many activities, such as hiking, skiing, and camping, that allow her to explore all of California's great outdoors. In addition , she also participates in many school and sports activities for her two elementary school children. |
Trisha Chiann-Wen Yang, OD

Dr. Trisha Chiann-Wen Yang (楊倩雯 眼科醫生 ) joined our office in 2024. Dr. Yang graduated from Leigh High School in San Jose and received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of California, Irvine. She obtained her doctorate from Nova Southeastern University's College of Optometry in Florida and has been a board-certified Optometrist in California since 2002.
Dr. Yang has been dedicated to the healthcare profession and her community for over 20 years. Speaking both English and Mandarin Chinese fluently, her experience includes local and international medical missions. Her extensive background in private and commercial practices includes contact lens fitting, managing ocular diseases and comprehensive routine eye exams.
Dr. Yang is also a loving daughter and a mother of an accomplished athlete. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, swimming, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends.

Curtis W. Keswick, OD, FAAO (retired)
Dr. Curtis W. Keswick received his Bachelors of Science and Doctor of Optometry Degrees from UC Berkeley's School of Optometry. He then served in the Navy at Bethesda Naval Hospital from 1975 to 1977 before setting up this private optometry office in the heart of Almaden Valley. In 1978 he started teaching at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System and became Chief of the Optometry Section in 1995. He teaches fourth year externs from five different optometry schools and is the residency supervisor for three one year residents after they graduate from optometry school.
He has just started a two year program for research in Low Vision as well. Dr. Keswick is a past president of the Santa Clara County Optometric Society and the Alumni Association of the University of California Optometry. He is a recipient of the "Optometrist of the Year" award for the state of California in 2000. |
Dr. Keswick has retired from Almaden Family Optometric Center in October 2021. He has transferred all his patients to see Dr. Linda Yee and Dr. Jennifer Hsieh. He knows that the staff and doctors will continue to provide excellent care to his patients after he has retired. He occasionally visits everyone at the office and participated in the office's holiday party.

Michele graduated from the Clinical Medical Assistant program from Boston Reed College in 2005 and then in 2014 attended Evergreen Valley College for Business Administration.
With over 17 years of experience as a medical office manager, she has dedicated herself to making sure patients experience the best standard of care from start to finish and strives to make everyone she meets feel comfortable, cared for and understood.

Flora Paydar graduated from West Valley College and got her certifications in Insurance Billing and Coding Specialty in 2009 and Medical Assistant in 2011. She has over 5 years of front and back office working experience as a medical assistant. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
She exercises every day and especially enjoys walking by the ocean, swimming, cooking, baking, reading, and traveling to different countries.
